Recognise

Development of a prototype for the recognition of abstract regions on cartographic maps for a diploma thesis. The prototype was constructed using MS-Visual C++ 6.0 with the class libraries LEDA and AVD from the Max-Planck-Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken. Documentation in UML.
 

Robust copy-utility for OS/2 and Windows NT

Development of a tool for copying and synchronising of big amounts of data on unreliable heterogeneous networks with paketwise retrying and restarting and with forced overwriting of open files. A command line utility was developed using MS Visual C++ 6.0.
 

ACL FileCopy/NT

Development of a tool for copying files together with their access control properties between OS/2 LAN-Server and Windows NT. The tool was developed using MS Visual C++ 6.0 and IBM Visual Age C++ for OS/2.

Project manager for the year 2000 safety of a client. It was necessary to check and modify several C++ source codes of client products and to test, look up and update the used software and hardware. Further on the clients and suppliers were interviewed to secure the productivity infrastructure.
